time alone

Davina turned and saw Blaze standing in the living room, his eyes met hers and she felt the stab of pain run through her once more. She wished she could have chosen him...but Blaze was not the other part of her soul. He was still her second but their friendship would never be the same.

She sighed as he turned and left the apartment, no doubt to go and let the gang know they were needed. She turned to Donna and Spike and remembered what she had come to ask Donna in the first place.

"Donna, I meant to ask you something. You called Blaze your brother...is that true?"

spike smiled once again and kissed her cheek "well we are , and for the mean time they need both of our atenshions" he said laying Garace between his legs on the bed as he played with ehr toes he could see a small smile cross her face as he did this and made him smile too. He looked up at Davina when she ahsked about Blaze not saying anything but waiting for her to reply as to why she had said what she had , he knew whwy but he was not going to say it was not his place.

D nodded as he played with grace and tickled her toes. she turned to davina when she asked her about what she said about blaze."It's true,Blaze is my half brother ..his mother was my mother, the one my father took, my mother married his father when my father threw her out the castle, having no more use for her and in a rare moment of pity couldnt kill her, so he had her dumped on a road in a small village, so yes blazes father was my step-father."

Davina nodded, "I see. Well perhaps you should sit down with him soon and talk about that. Your brother has no memory, the were that changed him did it very brutally and brought him over in a blood rage...his mind has shut down. And not even a Witch Mother has been able to unlock his mind, but perhaps you are the key."

spike sat listening as he daughter gigged on the bed , lifting her he placed her over his shoulder and smiled "we can wait a bit longer before going to the flat if yo wanto talk to him donna " he said as he kissed her placing Grace down in the basket next to her brother."mother will surly have the place fumagated buy the time we get there " he chuckled

D..nodded "I see, well i will try and tell blaze all i know, ive only seen blaze a few times, once when he was born, when he was five and the last time on his eighteenth birthday, i had to escape to see him..afterward my father punished me for it, but i will tell him when blaze is ready and wanting me to tell him."she said softly."davina i wont push blaze, tell him to find me when he is ready."she said softly. she turned back to spike."I imageine she would your mother and i think i will on future make sure the flat is spotless when your mother comes to visit."

Davina nodded. "I will tell him to seek you out. He is having a rough time at the moment and it might take some time. But he will come to you I am sure of it." She said and then she heard the baby. "If you will excuse me, I must go grab my son real quick."

sike chuckled "its ok donna shes just protective of me and now these two , she hated what I do but I must if they and I and now use are to servive " he said kissing Grace then jacob on there for heads before returning to Donna "I am in no hurry to get home unless you are, Davina that gard wuld be wonderful " he said watching her go to fetch the baby.

D. Nodded."well she is a mother is she not?mothers are allways protective of their little ones, as well as fathers are."she said softly as she watched spike kiss grace and then jacob."Im in no hurry spike if you are not."she rose a brow as davina said she had to tend to her son."davina gave birth?oh that is wonderful news spike..im so glad she has a little one of her own."

Davina returned a moment later, Alex was still sound asleep but Talon had been hungry. She had fed the boy and now cradled him in her arms. Midnight was beside her purring softly, the panther would not let the babe from his site.

"Sorry, but you know all to well when they are hungry there is no telling them to wait." She said as she smiled down at the little boy.

spike smiled as she saw how comoftable Davina looked , she loked as if she ahd birthed him but they both knew the truth behind it "yes we do " he said softly s he stood to look at the boy "he is very strong and will do you proud Davina" he said his eyes sparkling as he spoke and looked at her he gently touched her hand "take good care of him" he sid softly to ehr.

She looked at him and nodded, "There is no better mother then a she-wolf." She said and then looked down at her son. "His name is Talon and he will be quite powerful and handsome...of this I know."

The brilliant sea-green eyes looked up at her and he grabbed her finger tightly and she smiled even more. He had indeed captured her heart and though he was not her blood he was indeed her pup.

D smiled at davina."Yes babies are a very hungry lot, especially boys, our jacob is a little piggie some times."she said softly as she looked at davina and the baby."Oh he is going to be a handsome man and very strong..like alex?am i right alex is is father yes? im so happy you have a mate davina and a child,>"

spike sighed as he looked down at Talon " he is a hansom baby" he said looking at ehr he knew she could se in his eyes that he urt to hold a secret from hide wife but he had to, he reatched out and tuched the boy but pulled back "yes he will do you proud Davina " he tuned to

Donna watched spike with davinas baby. she noticed he seemed to hesitate and pull himself away from the child."Spike are you allright?maybe we should head home you seem a bit out sorts right now."

Davina nodded, "Well I will go lay him down and wake Alex up. It is time we get you guys home."

She turned then and left taking the babe upstairs and waking Alex up letting him know she would be gone for a bit and that the babe would be fine where food was concerned. Then she came back down.

"Ready?" She asked.

spike sighed and nodded "yes I'm fine donna I guess just relived your safe and well now" he uirned to look at ehr kissing her lips as he smiled " still got that sexy look" he said softly to her "davina's right time to head home " he heldf her atight against him glas to have her that close once more and feel her against his body

D nodded to spike and picked up one the moses baskets."I wish i had something a bit better to carry the babies in when we have to travel like this, especially if ever we have to run."she said softly as she handed the other moses basket that held little grace in it to him."thank you again davina for all your kindness."

Davina left the room and came back with two infant car seats, she had of course used her magic to obtain them but she didn't want Donna to know that half of her yet. "How about an escort in a car then?" She asked.

D shurgged her shoulders."I suppose if thats what spike thinks best."she said softly as she looked at the car seats and made a mental note to obtain some for the twins next time they had to ride in the car.

Davina saw the look, "Don't worry you can have them. They are the best ones on market right now. And when I say car I mean a very secure Hummer that will get us there safely with the pack on their bikes and all around us."
