"Thats good to know."she said as he kissed her and they walked, frowning because he hobbled, she knew he was in a great deal of pain.
she was glad when they could sit down, knowing it would releave him of the pain a bit and she was glad to be off her feet too.
she smiled at the man before he went into the back"On that will suit him, nothing too fancy or too plain, he's got a unqiue personality sir."

spike smiled and nodded "yeah not to fancy" he said repeating what donna had said "but can with stand abusive use " he said thinking it would be useful as a weapon. He took her hand gald to sit "you still want that foot rub later, or an all over body one?" he asked softly a cheeky grin now on his face as he looked at her.

D nodded."yes one that wont break from repeated use, substantialit has to be."she called out as spike took her hand."which ever you arent too tired to do dear, i shant have you tireing yourself out or hurting your leg."she said softly as she blushed at her cheeky grinned husband."you are rather cheeky today spike."

he nodded and smiled "always around you dear" he said softly but a female in teh shopciggled and moved away from tehm he shook his head "wonder what her problem is" he said ending in his hand rubbing his thigh again frantikly with a sigh.

He sat back and groaned as the pain shifted to a diferant spot, he grit his teeth "dam thing it shifts" he said sighing as sit finally subsided again.

the man returned with two canes one black with a silver plain top , the second a red mahogany with a silver dragon topper.

"ok i found these two" he said walking over to them.

D smiled."well yes natrually my dear, same as i am with you."she laughed when he said what was the shop girls problem."I think she overheard you dear."she said before she frowned when she saw him in pain again. "Im so sorry you are in pain my spike, i wish i could take your pain for you."she said softly as the man returned with the canes."spike want to test them out, or do you want me to give them my test by testing if it withstand my strength?"

spike looked at both for a moment then smiled to Donna "go ahead if they with stand you then its worth it " he said and rubbed the back of her hand "and don't, please , this is not your fault and don't ever think it was" he said softly

D laughed."good because ive been dieing to try and break something today because of the liver incident but i dont think your good mother would approve of me destroying that ugly but very antique vase she has in the entryway."she said as she stood up and picked up the first cane with the plain head. she surveyed it then gave it a good crack across the floor, she watched as people gapped as she shattered it to tiny peices."we will of course pay for that breakage too, wont we spike."she took the other and did the same but this time the cane didnt bend or break and she found when you pushed on the canes head it lifted and revealed a cane sword when you removed the sheath."Not bad at all spike added suprise there."

spike stood up with donnas helpand took it he held it and felt sxomething wrong "perfect like it could have been made for me" he slowly un sheethed the sword and held it to the man " why?" he asked the point against the mand throat "it was your fathers , your real fathers" he said and looked at Donna "don't worry about teh barkages , spikes father was areally god freind to me he saved my life and set me up here " he said smiling to both "never though i would see his son in here though you'd be more careful"

D nodded."eerily though, i felt like ive seen that sword before though, maybe its jsut me."she stood by spikes side in case there was any funy business when he held the man at sword point. she smacked her forhead when he told them that it was spikes real fathers sword cane."Of course! thats where i've seen it before! how could i be so stupid!"
she nodded when the man told them not to worry about the breakages."Since you knew my husbands dad let me ask you something ive just remembered, did he ever bring you a certain gun or sword to be fixed?and if he did then let me ask you this, what was unusal about the sword or the gun , because if you can answer them both then i know you speak the truth."

spike looked at the man who smiled turrning he moved to his back room return ing with somthing wrapped in a red velvet cloth . placing it infront of her he uncovered it there sat a sword and a gun "both are the one and the same , the gun has a dragon runing down its barrel teh sword the handel and blade fordged from steel heated so they say in teh moutains of tokyo by a budest monk who added the dust of a vampire to it it can kill just by a touch, but its true user had never been found." he lifted the sword and held it out "if you wheild the sword you are the red dragon" he said waiting.

D began to weep as the old man returned and told about the gun and the sword."I thought they had been lost to me ages ago when spikes father was attacked, i've blamed myself for his attack spike, many times, if he hadnt helped me and my mother.."she said quietly."she went and bowed to the old man."thank you for keeping them safe, my mother allways told me of one in her family who was called the red dragon a very long time ago, you see my mother was half japanese, my other grandfather's name was mashara morimoto the golden dragon and his wife my grandmother daniyuko or dani as he called her was thel red dragon, but my mother said she allways felt as if the sword never truely felt as if the sword and gun were hers, she could weild them, but they never truely obeyed her my mother said, and then after grandmother passed , grandfather had them hidden, untill spikes father found them , but i foolishly lost them in a battle with my father.."

Spike smiled as she explained about teh sword and gun "well it must have been fait to bring you back here " he said as he lent on his stick watching as she moved and took them "how do thay feel ?" he asked

The shop keeper smiled "then they truly are yours mrs Van helsing" he said and broudht out a sheeth for the sword it had emobssed a dragon with a red ruby for its eye "I made this for it it felt right also a gun holster with the same pattern design" he held both out to her and smiled "I am happy to repay your father by helping his son and wife" he said "if you ever need me just call in" he moved back to behind his counter.

"indeed it must have been."she said as she took them "like i've never lost them spike, like they've allways been mine."

She nodded to the shopkeeper"yes i'd like to think so."she smiled when the old man brought out a hollster and a shealth with a dragon on it that had a ruby eye. she took the sword and shealthed it and put the gun in its holster and strapped the holster around her leg. "we will, thank you again and if you ever need us let us know."she turned to her husband."Hows the cane then?"

spike chuckled and loked at her "bit old man ish " he said as he moved out teh shope but he found himself moving faster with the cane, he smiled at donna " well look at you reguler vam hunters wife" he said smiling as he kissed her " at least now you have your sword and gun back " he said and griped the cane "father chose well " he said softly his fingers brushing the hed on the caneas he walked.

Donna shook her head."you don't look like an old man to me , you're a sexy beast."she said as she kissed his cheek. "Oh don't i though."she said grinning."still it's good to have them back as it will help us in our cause so to speak."she said after he kissed her."yeah he did, i'd like to see if we can find that old vampire hunters case of your grandads though, that would be a gem to have and give to your step dad to look over."she said sighing."Maybe yer mum saved it and its in the attic somewheres?"she said softly as she kissed him again."so you fancy a ruby murray or some other takeway tongnight when we get home? cause i dont want a repeat of lunch tonight."

spike sighed as she kissed him "thanks you always know how to make me feel better" he grined as she spoke about the vampire file his father was working on. "Its not in the loft , its in my bedroom in the bed side draws " he said loking sheepish at ehr "its been there for years i look at it but can never find anything to link your.....father to my fathers killing , nothing to say why it was" he said as he walked with her down the pavement "and I was thinking chainese?" he said taking her hand in his."but im flexable"

D smiled."awww im glad to know i can make you feel happier."she said as the talked about the vampire file of his dads."I didnt mean the file dear, when i said case, i ment your grandads old vampire hunting box, my mum said theres susppose to be a secret drawer in it, i wonder if its some of the missing pages of the diary in there."she held his other hand as they walked down"Chinese would be better cause then i can get the soup and some egg rolls too with the other stuff as well and when i think of it a curry would give me heart burn."

spike blushed as she said not the actual files but his fathers trunk now that he knew was in teh loft "ow yes gthat is in the loft but its locked and nobody has the key " he said sadly "I think it might have been lost when t he attack happened " he nodded about chinese food "healthyer for you and the baby too " her said feeling that excitment at being afather again rise from inside him.

D thought for a moment and looked at her pendant "Did the lock sort of look funny looking, like there should be something other then a key to open it? i think i know what might be it, look at our pedant halfs when they are together, ever notice that they look like some odd key sometimes?"
she nodded when he said chinese would be healither for her and the baby."Yes i think so too, i want myself and the baby to be as healthy as possible."she said smileing at the thought of being a mommy again."so what age do think the twins are going to settle on tomorrow?"

spike smiled and nodded "I did and i also know theres a place for the to both go I though it was just part of the degsin but i guess it was a way to lock it " he smiled abd rubbed her tummy "probably 16 years old im guessing since they have slowed now " he said and walked with her to a restarunt .

opening the door he smiled as a young man walked over and took his hand "good to see you again i take it this is Mrs vanhelsing" he asked smiling to donna "its my pleasure "hes not stopped talking about you each time he called" he said grinning making spikes cheeks blush even more.

D nodded."probably is , we should try it sometime and see if thats true, even if there is not anything to link my father to his death at least we get to see your grandfathers hunting equpiment."
she smiled when he said the twins would most likely settle on seventeen yrs old."im sure they will as thats a good age, but then i myself settled on a bit older but then that was just me at the time."

she smiled as they opened the door to the resteraunt and a young man talked to spike and took his hand "Nice to meet you as well young man, and has he now ?hopefully all good things i hope?"

the man nodded "from what he said i would have expected you with white angel wings " he said and lead them to a table "your order is complients of the house, i can't charge such a beautiful lady" he said with a smile.

spike shook his head and moved with tehm "hey remeber shes spoken for reme" he said and sat next to her his leg feeling alittle stiff as he placed the stick next to him.

D laughed."Now that would be a sight would it not."she said as they were lead to the table.
she raised a brow when the man said that the order was free of charge and on the house.
she laughed as spike said she belonged to him and was spoken for."yeah sorry reme, only one me and i belong to spike."

Reme sighed but smiled "well hes got a beautiful wife " he said and left to fetch there order, spike jjst chuckled at his reaction.
"well thats an admirer quashed " he said taking her hand in his as he ran his fingers over her nand "he means well but is such a gigalo, allways has been" he said and smiled lovingly at her.

D laughed."well thank you reme, its nice to be appreciated."
she laughed again."Yes well dear, he's not my type ..you are but then you know that, never did care for men with dark hair that much."she said as she felt him run his fingers over her hand."Poor reme, he trys far too hard..im sure he'll find someone sometime who will appreciate his unique charm."
